Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester (born Leighton Meester) is an American model, singer and songwriter. She's known as "Blair Waldorf" in the drama television series "Gossip Girl". Leighton Meester started her career as a child. She appeared on a stage in her home town productions of 'The Wizard of Oz'. It sparked her passion for acting. It was then that she started modeling and appearing in commercials. In her modeling projects, she has been associated with many major companies like Herbal Essences,"Vera Wang,' 'Jimmy Choo and Ralph Lauren.' While she initially began her modeling profession as a model she later ventured into acting too. Her first job was as model, however later transitioned into acting. She has written and recorded songs with notable artists like 'Cobra Starship', Robin Thicke and others. The songs she has written have been featured as 'Billboard Top Hits.'
