Dina Meyer was raised and born within Forest Hills Queens New York. Before she finished junior high, she moved to Queens and moved to Dix Hills Long Island. Dina Meyer has two brothers, Gregory is her elder brother and Evan is her younger. From the age of nine till 16, she started working in the entertainment business through modeling. She started her acting training at The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York in which she learned Sanford Meisner's acting techniques together alongside Ron Stetson, for about three years. Sandra Bullock received similar training as did Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton are among the actors that have undergone the same type of instruction. Her first acting role came with Beverly Hills 90210. This led to her relocating into Los Angeles. She was cast as the main character in Johnny Mnemonic in which she was able to perform almost every stunt herself, and established herself as a talented actress. In addition to the agency that represented Matt LeBlanc the agent of hers was responsible for a number of regular roles on Friends.
