Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn was born in the US and she is an actress who has worked professionally over the last 27 years. Talented as a thespian, she's been actively involved in professional theatre over the last 27 years. Her first stage appearance was in 1990 with an off-Broadway version of The Big Funk directed by John Patrick Shanley. The following year, she was offered her first role on TV in The Perfect Tribute. The big break in her career came about in 1992 when she played a supporting character in the film Basic Instinct. The youngest American Junior Golf Association member to ever be awarded the title, she also won the Westfield Junior PGA Championship in the same year.
