To change this perception, she appeared as a model on Gear cover partially clothed. Jessica's move caused discord among her followers. Her appearance in the 6th season was the last time she appeared in 7th Heaven. Her acclaimed performance in the role of a teenager Casey Jackson in the film Ulee's Gold brought her instant notoriety. The film earned her the award for Best Supporting Female Actress. Summer Catch is a great illustration of her talents. Her movie Rules of Attraction did not have much success despite her impressive performance. People were then attracted to her role on The Texas Chainshaw Massacre. The suspense films she has acted in has shown her to be an experienced actor.
